KRISTINA VAYDA

More than twenty years in philanthropy and social-business development.

She has more than twenty years’ experience in philanthropy and social-business development: agency-side as a fundraising and communications consultant, and client-side building new offers and managing accounts for non-profits and companies. For the past decade she has advised entrepreneurs and families of wealth on creating and running their foundations.

Her first experience of the family’s industrial business was managing a financial crisis in 2008–09 and leading it back to profitability. She took over operational management in 2014, moved to a non-executive board role in 2018, and managed its wind-down in 2026.

Kristina holds a double BA in Economics and French Literature from the University of Guelph, an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, and is a certified coach. Raised in a multicultural family, she has studied, lived and worked across North America and Europe, and brings intercultural fluency to every engagement.

She sits on the advisory boards of HemoFab, a medtech start-up, and PLACE Network, a French NGO delivering refugee-led solutions for social and economic inclusion and is a board member of the Fonds de Participation Solidaire, a French fonds de dotation (endowment fund) promoting philanthropy and corporate giving.
